The Notched Gauge Rake is the go-to tool for contractors who need to pull uniform coats of cement-based SLUs, epoxy self-levellers or polyurethane screeds without fussing with cams or gliders. Its one-piece 24 in. (600 mm) stainless bar is laser-cut with a V profile; the angled web keeps the rake at a perfect 90° to the slab so material thickness stays constant across the entire pass. Because every rake is built to a single notch height, setup is as simple as “grab the right size and go.”
The notches are engineered so the wet-film thickness laid down equals roughly 40 % of the notch height — the sweet spot for most self-smoothing systems. The abrasion-resistant stainless edge shrugs off aggregate and cleans up fast on site.
Key Features:
- Fixed V-Notch Heights Instant, repeatable build with no on-site adjustments needed.
- Angled Blade Geometry Keeps the bar upright, preventing “feathering” at the ends of a pull.
- Abrasion-Resistant 304 Stainless Steel Won’t rust in wet‐cement environments and outlasts mild-steel rakes.
- 24 in. (600mm) Working Width Covers more floor in fewer passes, boosting productivity.

-
